A modernist contemporary styled single family residence situated in a young and upcoming extension to a renowned upmarket private housing estate in the eastern suburbs of Pretoria.
The architecture consists of a series of juxtaposed boxes pieced together forming the built structure housing the residentail program with the ground level entry from the hall and a private guest suite / study and en-suite greets passing into a space containing the open plan living room, dining, kitchen, bar area and abundant entrertainment covered patio leading out onto the pool deck and garden courtyard outdoor space.
On the private upper level two double volumes segregate the tv room and home office from the three family bedrooms all with en-suite facilities and a spacious dressing area tandem the master suite with own framed view port covered balcony overlooking the lush garden court and pooll deck.
External textures are kept simple with plastered and contrasting painted accent walls and packed stone feature elements to the main street facing facades.
The oversized two vehicle garage and storage area leads directly into a large scullery / laundry room alongside a single staff quarters with en-suite accessable from the outside with own private entrance to the rear of the main structure adjacent to the utilities drying yard.
